The Uranium Man - Equipment and Lighting

My primary sound setup is a sleek Bose L1 system. The slim vertical arrays have a very low profile while still providing excellent sound. The towers also can double as low-load lighting stands. I have a wireless microphone system routed through an FX processor, an all-digital music library and various effects and decorations for nearly any type of event. I also have a smaller backup sound system I bring to all events just in case.

Lighting Effects

I have wide array of lighting effects. I take full advantage of emerging LED technology for dance floor effects, uv lights, color washes, moving heads and uplighting, though I also have a few older halogen lamp effects as well. I also have several lasers, a mirrored ball, a light-up facade, table skirts and scrims for my lighting stands. You should ask your venue whether they allow fog or bubble effects. Fog can trip some types of fire alarms and sprinklers, while bubbles can sometimes create slippery conditions on tile, hardwood or linoleum.
